  2. Where´s the street course? I mean the skateboard street course? I only see bowls and bmx ledges / banks (or inline). Otherwise it´s looks like you could expect it.

  4. What’s to worry – what are you looking for that this park does not have? What is an inline?

I personally have seen a lot of skateparks in my day and I have never seen one that resembles this one to the slightest.

In the future if you want to gripe about the design it is better you do it during the planning stages. The 3-D model has been finished for over a half a year.

I am curious what you would like to see different in this park.

  5. what the f**k? bmx ledges / banks since when where ledges/curbs/rails more for use of a bmxér then a skater?

And bowls is as much skate as all other obstacles.

That i really like whit this park is how all things integrates to one course instead of one streetarea, one parkarea and one bowl area…

So could you “skater” please tell us what you seems to miss?

  6. The streetareas will be around the bowls. Just wait untill the park is finished and you will get what you want.

  7. I hear you. The angle of almost all the banks are steep and looks alot like bmx jumps. Of course you can ride a skateboard on the banks as you can on alot of things but it dosen´t mean it´s good. The ledges is pretty high and long with no end very rollerblade like. Have you ever seen any skater skate ledges like that? Well it obvious that you guys dont skate street at all……I´m still stoked and I guess I have to learn how to do it on bmx jumpsa and learn how to skate bowl like a man. Cheers! Coming to visit next weekend and I wont bring a case of beer, I bring some fruit and carbonated water for you guys. Keep it real.

  8. well, i can only find 1 or maybe 2 ledges that are qute long, but ive seen A LOT of skateboarders that happily rides ledges kind of that. You got to know that not everyone likes same things that yourself. Now im talking about the ledges that go down things. and a lot of them is quite low to.. look at the box with hip in the middle of the course. those ledges are absolutly not high, if you ask me they are to low, but quite good for beginners.

If you talk about flat ledges there are quite a bit of those which are very long but to say that skateboarders not skate ledges like that? Well ive seen a lot of skateboarders who do like nosegrinds pop of for example.. and for slides it doesnt make any differnt if the ledges have ending or not… oh and all have endings.. at the ens… stupid..

I can only see that youre complaining for your own sake and what you like… U gotta see the whole picture of skaters with different abbilitites, pros/beginners, trannies/street banks/trannies low/high long/short steep/mellow and so on… as i can see they have done a perfect design when it comes to that. ut of course there a lot of things i dont like and will not skate those parts. But i´ve know thats not a faulty design. Its just fuckin good design and thinking too get things in the course that ALL people like

And inliners and BMX riders likes Trannies a lot more than steep banks so if this park would have been designed in that aspect you shoulnd have seen any banks att all. And again. Theres only the boxhip that are quite steep. all other hips and banks i find quite mellow.

And the park definllty has things for all taste. Thats de most important thing in Skatepark designing.
