The Warm Weather Continues In Gothenburg……..
It is almost like an oven out and I have never experienced such warm temperatures in my time in Sweden.
Here is the crew on coffee break. Lately it is so hot nobody seems so interested in the coffee. This part of the park will be the spectator area. There will be grass planted between the concrete sections.
It’s a clam shell, the mini-bowl shaping up.
The deep end of the big bowl. We’ll be concreting it next week. It’s going to be super fast and of course super fun!

Hot And Sunny!
Here a photo viewing towards the entrance of what will be the skatepark.
Notice the nice backdrop in an other-wise urban environment.

Rebar, Rebar And More Rebar
Here is the shallow end of the pool, note the double layer of rebar (steel reinforcement).
Normally we use only one layer of rebar, but this project is special.
It equals a lot more work.
But our work doesn’t even touch Skanska’s (the general contractor).
Check out the image below for a view of their work.
Oh ya, I almost forgot to mention, it is starting to feel a lot like summer out here with some hot afternoons working down in the pit.

Vacation Time In Sweden
But we’re still at work…
Fidi
Stefan
I have to admit, though, a vacation doesn’t sound half bad…
Ah, such is the life.
