Here we are setting up for another day of concrete, tomorrow. Things are moving along at a good pace as the weather has been favorable this week. This picture is an image from the other side of the bump featured in the last post
Here is Thomas the excavator driver cutting material out from the perimeter of the skatepark. I can not believe I have not posted a photo of him sooner as he does so much work around the site.
The hole he is digging is for the exterior wall of the skatepark. The building site is quite tight and getting tighter, but we are managing.
There has been a lot of concrete being placed lately at ActionPark.
We have not had the time to take all the pictures, but I do have a few that Gary took yesterday.
The first photo is of the bump at the end of the spine. It will be the center piece of the bowl design and a great place for getting speed and catching air
The second photo is of the work of Skanska.
They have been really getting more into the scheme of the skatepark work, with the likes of Oscar, Kenny and John “Hockey” Stranger.
Great Punk Wall!
Here are a few photos sent by Slashy of the new Innsbruck Skatepark.
Slashy spent the last two month working to construct it along with Hannes Sautner and Alex Kapfinger from the Cradle Skatepark in near-by Brixlegg.
The skatepark was design by Stefan Hauser with a few moderations made during the construction.
Stay tuned. We’ll post better overview photos when they arrive.
Here is a link to the new Bailgun.
Bailgun is an on-line magazine out of Germany.
This issue features Sweden and a whole lot of photos from Stapelbäddsparken
Check it out!
Mats and his employee, Tim, have been doing all the concrete pumping for us here in Gothenburg.
Mats owns three pumps. This one, here, was made in America.
The weatherman failed today! No rain at all.
We got a lot done in this mild weather.
Gary’s spot today. I heard he almost went crazy down there.
Skanska – part of the crew having a little meeting.
And a little more concrete for us and Skanska today as well.
Here are a couple of pictures from our deck pour.
We were in Malmö yesterday. The weather was fine. We did a little skating, the park was rather packed and we also finally installed our company plaque.
Thanks to PW Svets & Smide for fabricating the plate and of course thanks to
Malmö City and Bryggeriet for making this project happen.
