Summer came to an abrupt end last week

Filed under: Uncategorized — hauser @ 11:31 am

Or how do they say it here, this is swedish summer.

img_0985.jpg
Today we add to another consecutive and successful day of concrete in Gothenburg.

The weather was very close to rain on a few occasions, but we missed the showers during the period of working with this piece of concrete.

You should have seen the rain yesterday. It sounds like none of our crew even dare go outside.

Oh, ya, the sun did come out today for a few periods and you could feel the warmth for a few fleeting seconds. It makes you remember Sweden’s position on the planet.

For those of you watching our progress at PTR, you might want to take the time to check out a few others blogs.

I just came across this image today from the ActionPark Blog.

This image features from right to left: Mr. Karlsson, Bosse, Stefan and Oscar.

Here is the latest picture I’ve seen of the work down in Innsbruck. You can keep up on the work by visiting their blog.

Links to both sites are available also on the blog role to the right of this page.

Here is an overview shot of the job-site. Click on the image for a larger view.

The brown wall you see is the dividing line between Skanska’s work and ours.

It also is what will separate the street area from the bowls.

Concrete every day this week

Here is our fourth day of consequtive concrete.

We’ll be having concrete again tomorrow and then again early next week, as long as the weather permits.

Rest assured that everything is looking good! Please though for those of you in Gothenburg, the park is closed and will be until the project is finished and the gates are open.

Therefor, we give you a friendly reminder to stay off the concrete!

Today’s local news bring with it a little caption from our lovely administrator.

Tent City

Filed under: Uncategorized — hauser @ 11:42 am

After two weeks of sun, warm weather and no concrete, we return to work this Monday to massive rain fall. Luckily we make good tents and can keep the concrete nice and dry.

img_0945.jpg
This photos was taken right after we lowered the tents for the day.

The concrete turned out good today and we have another piece of the puzzle complete.

We are expecting something similar for tomorrow.
